About us

Hi, we are Emily and Adam Mitcham, passionate, light and airy photographers based within the West Midlands. We love capturing special moments in life that we can look back on and reminisce. A moment can be over in seconds but a photograph can help store it in our minds forever, creating a long lasting memory.

We trained in photography alongside teaching but have always loved how photographs can take you back to a special memory and love capturing our friends and families in every situation. We were always (and still are) the ones who had the camera out at any occasion. We then transformed our hobby into our family business and now really understand the logistics of how to take the perfect shot.

E L Mitcham Photography has now been in operation for 4 years and we feel we are just at the beginning of our journey. We continue to regularly educate ourselves and update our knowledge and look at ways to extend and enhance our business. We have shot over 40 weddings and 100’s of other studio shoots and can’t wait to shoot many more.

Taking you back a little now, we first met when we were at secondary school and as cliche as it sounds we fell in love. Fast forward 10 years (to the exact date) when we got married in 2014. We are now 30 years old with 2 children, a girl and a boy and love travelling with them and of course capturing all of those moments through our lens!
